We're So Screwed
However this may not bode well for any of us. *wink*

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

I'll give it a go

Other than anything SN related, what is your favorite pastime?
21st-Oct-2009 08:49 pm (UTC)
Drinking coffee...no wait, that's not a pastime, that's a profession.

Kind of depends, if I have quiet time, aka the kids are in bed, and I'm feeling lazy, I like to read. If it's quiet time and I'm feeling productive I'll write. Playing with the kids. Spending quality time with James - that's not nearly as dirty as it sounds, trust me. :)

Oh my God, do I sound boring! But the things we used to like to do aren't really feasible with little kids, such as back country camping in the mountains, spontaneously deciding to drive three hours for coffee in a different town, things like that.

The coffee thing is true. *nods* I experienced it first hand, and she happily supported my coffe addiction too. LOL

You & your coffee just like Dean LOL!

I like to read also, what kind of books do you like to read ?
Spending time with the family is always good

You don't sound boring at all & there is still time to do all of those things.

What kind of books, hmmm basically brain candy, fantasy, horror or occasionally true crime which really isn't brain candy but I find interesting. Oh and Historical fiction - yes that would be romance...shut it! ;)

Yeah, we're thinking that once both munchkins are a little older, Garnet around six which would make Marie nine, we'll start taking them on overnight back country hiking trips. It'll be fun!

I like true crime as well but my favorite are mysteries, I like to try to figure out who did it before I read the ending
You don't need to tell me to shut it, I read romances once in a while too. I've never heard it referred to as historical fiction though LOL!

It does sound like fun but in the meantime you can always get a babysitter for the weekend & have some alone time (with or without the Mr LOL !)

Ohhh could it be without??? I'm kidding...mostly.

You'd think that it would be called historical romance, and yes I've seen it called that in the romance section of the bookstore but I've bought books out of the general fiction area called historical fiction and it's all one big romp in the hay or the back of a buggy or a drawing room or a (choose a place and it's probably happened there)... *g*

Most could be without & just 1 or 2 with.

I just thought they would be referred to as romance just like a lot of bookstores around here. I have never seen anything called historical... before
